1. Platform Overview
Search Mart India is a marketplace that acts as an intermediary between sellers (suppliers) and buyers. We do not manufacture or own the products listed. Each supplier is responsible for the accuracy of their listings, pricing, and fulfilment.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
- Suppliers must provide valid business credentials (GST number, business address) during registration.
- Buyers must provide accurate shipping and contact information.
3. Supplier Responsibilities
- Suppliers are solely responsible for product quality, accurate descriptions, pricing, and timely dispatch.
- Suppliers must not list counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited products.
- Suppliers must honour confirmed orders. Repeated cancellations may lead to account suspension.
- Search Mart India reserves the right to delist any product or suspend any supplier account that violates our policies.
4. Buyer Responsibilities
- Buyers must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact details.
- Buyers must make payments through our secure payment gateways only.
- Buyers agree not to misuse the platform for fraudulent orders or chargebacks.
5. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on Search Mart India:
- Listing or purchasing illegal, counterfeit, or hazardous goods.
- Spamming, phishing, or misusing buyer/supplier contact information.
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews.
- Any activity that disrupts platform operations.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform — including logos, designs, and software — is the intellectual property of Search Mart India unless otherwise stated. Suppliers retain rights to their own product images and descriptions.
7. Limitation of Liability
Search Mart India is not liable for disputes between buyers and suppliers, product defects, delivery delays, or losses arising from the use of this platform. We facilitate the transaction; the contract is between the buyer and the supplier.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
